Every strong crew needs people who know the fundamentals. You’ll begin with the essential preparation, cleanup, material handling, and hands-on labor that keep a safe jobsite moving.
As you gain supervised experience, you can complete short lessons and practical skill checks. Advancement depends on skill, reliability, business needs, and available positions—but the path will always be clear.
YOUR CAREER LADDER
Helper / Apprentice
Train alongside experienced crew members in carpentry, painting, roofing, landscaping, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more.
Skilled Trade / Crew Lead
Own your work, earn skill certifications, help train others, and take on greater site responsibility.
Operations / Management
Paths can include project supervision, estimating, quality control, warranty work, sales, and management.
YOUR FIRST MONTH

Begin at $20.00 per hour while learning the fundamentals on the job.
Typical weekly PTO earned
Starting in your second workweek, earn 15 minutes of paid time off for every 10 hours worked, based on hours and worker level.

Residential maintenance, remodeling, and new construction within roughly 25 miles of Charlotte.
Many paths to learn
Exposure to the trades and business roles needed to take projects from estimate to warranty.

Do I need construction experience?+
No. This opening is designed for people starting at entry level. We provide hands-on instruction and supporting written or online lessons.
What kind of work will I do first?+
Expect foundational work such as site preparation and protection, cleanup, moving materials, basic tool use, and other labor that helps the crew work safely and efficiently.
Where are the jobsites?+
Most projects are within roughly 25 miles of Charlotte, North Carolina. Reliable transportation to changing residential jobsites is important.
Is advancement guaranteed?+
No position or timeline is guaranteed. Growth is based on demonstrated skill, safe work, reliability, completed training, company needs, and available roles. We make the requirements for each next step clear.
How does paid time off work?+
PTO begins accumulating after the first workweek, starting in the second workweek/pay cycle. The base accrual is 15 minutes for every 10 hours worked, with use subject to the current attendance and notice policy.
Will a record automatically disqualify me?+
No. Criminal history is not an automatic disqualification. If background information is considered, it is assessed individually in relation to the role and applicable law.
